The wine trade doesn’t care about younger consumers?

According to the founder and editor, Darryl Roberts, they had to close mainly because of lack of interest in the wine trade for the younger generation. Is the trade not really interested in attracting younger consumers to wine? Could it be so that the margins are higher on alcopops and spirits and the trade prefers to keep younger drinkers on that? decanter.com

Well, that may be true of course. Never saw the magazine in real life so I couldn't really tell.
