The CEO of Systembolaget, the Swedish monopoly, to resign

Anitra Steen has announced her resignation, well in advance of May 2009, which is the date she has set for the end of her term as CEO of the Swedish monopoly wine and spirits retailer Systembolaget AB. At that date she will have been in charge of the company for 10 years and will celebrate her 60th birthday. 60 years is also the obligatory retirement age for a CEO at the company.
