Terrorists attack starred restaurant
>> Wednesday, March 26, 2008
The Midsummer House in Cambridge is a restaurant starred by the Michelin Guide. It was recently attacked and vandalized by terrorists who belonged to The Animal Liberation Front (ALF). The vandals destroyed doors and windows of the restaurant and spray painted slogans on the walls. The restaurant has chosen to remove foie gras from its menu rather than risk being attacked again by the terrorists. One wonders if the vandals have seen how the birds are treated in a modern poultry breeding plant. Perhaps there are more important issues than foie gras. Decanter.com
